Sam Taufa; Owner

Sam is a native of Tonga and is the first generation to migrate with his wife and children to the United States in 1981. Just like many others, he was seeking employment opportunities to provide for his family. Over the years, Sam went from a Cook to a Mechanic to eventually finding his passion in Masonry. He gained experience working with friends and family in the trade and in 2009, Sam applied for his contractor’s license under Sam and Sons Masonry Contractor in Honolulu, Hawaii.  A local and family owned business.

 

Leo Taufa; Estimator/Foreman/Machine Operator/Mason/Project Manager

Leo grew up along side his father Sam watching and learning the ins and outs about masonry work so it was only natural that it became his profession. Leo branched out and absorbed years of work experience with skilled individuals and various construction companies in the trade which shows in his many titles. He is known for his expertise, dedication, strength and leadership developed with over 20 years of experience.

 

Pauline Taufa; Manager

Pauline comes with 13 years of working as the Environmental Services Manager of a 4/5 star senior living facility overseeing the daily operation and staff of Renovations, Maintenance, Housekeeping, Parking Attendants, Groundskeeper, Security and Front Desk. She was a member of the Safety and Disaster Preparedness/Planning Committee. She accompanied state and federal inspectors and surveyors with following up with corrective measures for deficiencies. Pauline oversaw the preventive maintenance, repair, and replacement of the facility’s equipment such as the nurse call, fire alarm/panel, fire sprinkler, fire standpipes, generator, elevators, HVAC, water pumps and etc. Other duties included working with and coordinating projects with various contractors. Her knowledge spans into training, pest control, mold, recycling, energy efficiency & sustainability. Today, Pauline is committed to working with Sam and Leo to move the company in a new and improved direction.
